If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, Owner will charge Renter for the cost of refueling at the prevailing local pump price plus a $25.00 refueling service fee.

7. RENTER'S OBLIGATIONS

Renter agrees to:

a) Use the vehicle only for lawful personal transportation purposes;

b) Not operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance;

c) Not allow any person other than Renter to operate the vehicle without Owner's prior written consent;

d) Not transport the vehicle outside the continental United States without Owner's written consent;

e) Obey all traffic laws and be solely responsible for all traffic citations, parking tickets, tolls, and fines incurred during the rental;

f) Report any accident, theft, or damage to Owner immediately and to the appropriate law enforcement agency;

g) Not use the vehicle for any illegal purpose, commercial delivery, rideshare services, or racing.

8. DAMAGE AND CONDITION

Renter acknowledges that the vehicle has been inspected and accepts it in its current condition. Renter is responsible for all damage to the vehicle occurring during the rental period, including damage caused by third parties, vandalism, theft, or weather, to the extent not covered by Renter's valid insurance policy. Owner shall document the vehicle's condition at pickup with photographs. Renter shall return the vehicle in the same condition, normal wear and tear excepted.

9. BREAKDOWN AND EMERGENCIES

In the event of a mechanical breakdown not caused by Renter's misuse or negligence, Owner will arrange or reimburse reasonable towing and emergency roadside assistance. Renter shall not authorize any repairs without Owner's prior written consent.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Owner from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from Renter's use of the vehicle during the rental period.

11. GOVERNING LAW
